Westport, CT, October 1, 2009 - Consolidated Management Group, Inc. (CMG) of Westport, Connecticut and HB Property Management, LLC (HB) of North Haven, Connecticut announced today the merger of the two companies.

The merger makes the company one of the largest Community Association property management companies in Connecticut, and represents a cumulative seventy years of experience in the business.  Together, CMG and HB manage over one hundred Condominium and other Community Associations as well as Commercial Properties in more than twenty-five cities and towns throughout Southern Connecticut.

Olof Nelson of Southport, CT, President of CMG and Hank Barkon of Branford, CT, President of HB, expressed their enthusiasm about the opportunity this merger provides.  "The enhanced resources will allow us to offer more cost efficient and effective property management solutions and services, including timely execution of work orders and enhanced communications," said Nelson.  Barkon added, "The increasingly complex environment with respect to construction, maintenance, accounting, finance and legal issues requires a more technologically experienced staff.  Our combined property management team is equipped to handle these challenges."

CMG with offices in Westport, Greenwich and Orange Connecticut, and HB with its office in North Haven, Connecticut expect to add other residential and commercial property management companies in Connecticut to further strengthen and expand their resources.
